Monthly Update – October 2015

Donations:

We have officially raised $9,095 of our $250,000 goal! This last week we received a generous donation of $3,000 and are praying for more hearts to be open towards supporting our project.  

Support Packs: Another Way You Can Support Us! 

Our Stronger support packs are now available on the website for purchase. These include: Stronger t-shirts, mugs, posters, pre-orders of blu-ray and DVDs, as well as VIP premiere and after party tickets. 

Donation Folders: For Those Wanting More Details

Folders include the Business Plan, Timeline/Schedule, Budget, Call to Action, and information on our Partner Organizations. Since the end of 2015 is coming to a close, businesses as well as individuals are looking for places to donate. RLM is a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. Please share this project with those looking for places to donate and support. If you would like a packet please send a private message to us. 

Shooting Schedule: 

Cast and crew are excited with anticipation for the start of shooting in November! Though we have succeeded in a few smaller shoots, late November marks the official beginning of production on the movie. Prayers would be appreciated as we begin this process of bringing the film to life. 

Finalizing Script: 

The script is nearing finalization and, wow, are we in awe of the direction it has taken. Thanks to the brilliance of our script writer and the wisdom of our contacts in partner organizations, we believe this is a powerful story that will invoke hope, healing, and a deeper awareness of PTSD in our society.

Mighty Oaks Warriors: 

We are pleased to announce a partnership with the Mighty Oaks Warriors Program. They focus on peer-based discipleship programs that support active members of the military who are struggling with PTSD. For more information on their programs visit their website: http://www.mightyoaksprograms.org

WE ARE STRONGER is a faith-based movie exploring a veteran’s battle with PTSD. As he struggles to recover from his injuries, reclaim his marriage, and fit back into the civilian world, our vet learns he can’t do it by himself.  Reflective Media Productions is working closely with Mighty Oaks Warriors, the Amos House of Faith and many other organizations. Our prayer is to raise awareness of PTSD and the hope Christ offers for healing.
